Dr. Choi, the medical director at MC medical spa, welcomes patients from Greater Vancouver area as well as other provinces and abroad. He is
dedicated to providing his patients with cutting-edge techniques and truly personalized treatments carefully researched in terms of their safety
and efficacy.
He is board certified in Aesthetic Medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and a holder of board certified & diplomat status with
that organization. He is a licentiate of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia. His experience in clinical medicine and medical
research coupled with ongoing commitment to quality patient care has allowed him to develop unique treatment protocols that provide consistent
results and impressive safety.
Dr. Choi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Science degree in Human
Nutrition and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Choi completed his internship at the Yale-Griffin
Hospital and University of Bridgeport Medical Center. During this time, he received expert training in nutrition, weight control, and the prevention of
chronic disease by nationally renowned scholars in the fields.
For two years, he completed his internship at Yale University Prevention Research Center, conducting clinical trials in weight loss and diabetes.
Dr. Choi has earned multiple commendations including Excellence in Clinical Research awarded by the Yale University Prevention Research
Center. Subsequently he went onto successfully complete board certification in aesthetic medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic
Medicine.
Dr. Choi is expertly trained in judicious use of food-derived medicinal substances as well as prescription pharmaceuticals, and a large repertoire
of aesthetic procedures to optimize the care of his patients.
